The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced in an official statement that the trading of certain Ethereum ETF spot products will begin on July 23, 2024.
This development is a significant milestone for the cryptocurrency space, as it will be the first approved spot altcoin ETF, following the earlier approval of a Bitcoin ETF by the SEC earlier this year.

“We are pleased to announce that one exchange-traded product (ETP) will be listed on Cboe and will begin trading… on July 23, 2024.”
