While Bitcoin and the broader cryptocurrency market are going through a period of stagnation, the Swiss government-owned bank PostFinance has brought some positive news for 5 altcoins.
One of Switzerland’s largest financial institutions, PostFinance, has announced that it now offers trading and custody services for these cryptocurrencies – Avalanche, Cardano, Polkadot, XRP, and Solana.

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson responded positively to ADA’s inclusion in PostFinance and shared his long-term partnership with the bank in his X profile.
“Interesting fact: When we were in Ethereum, PostFinance was actually one of our earliest banking partners. They have always been good and easy to work with,” said Hoskinson.

In March 2023, PostFinance expanded its cryptocurrency services through a partnership with Sygnum Bank. This collaboration enables PostFinance customers to buy, store, and sell cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) through Sygnum’s B2B banking platform.
