Circle’s CEO stated that the future of cryptocurrencies is more hopeful than ever before.
Garlinghouse stated, “As soon as information about XRP became available, it was accessible to users. Several news outlets incorrectly reported on the collective lawsuit’s decision against XRP. This is a significant victory as it resulted in the dismissal of all compensation claims brought in collective lawsuits, and nothing in the ruling changes the fact that XRP is not a security.”
According to him, the plaintiff in question did not purchase their tokens directly from Ripple and cannot say whether they saw the relevant statements at the time of purchase or not. He criticized those behind the lawsuit as opportunists seeking profits from their legal actions.
