    Cameron Winklevoss and Tyler Winklevoss have made significant contributions to the campaign of former US President Donald Trump by donating a total of $20,000 worth of Bitcoin.

    Trump’s acceptance of these donations is part of his recent shift in attitude towards cryptocurrencies.

    The twins shared the news of this donation on the social media platform X. Tyler Winklevoss, stating:

    “I just donated $10,000 worth of Bitcoin (15.47 BTC) to [Donald Trump] and will be voting for him in November.”

    In his post, Tyler criticized the Biden administration’s stance on cryptocurrencies and accused them of using government institutions to undermine the industry. He believes that Trump would be a better choice for the cryptocurrency community.

    Cameron Winklevoss also announced a $10,000 Bitcoin donation and stated that Trump’s favor towards Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency business is the reason for his support.

    Trump’s campaign team has recently started accepting cryptocurrency donations, as the former president strives to position himself as a strong advocate for the cryptocurrency industry.
