After successfully completing a convertible debt financing, MicroStrategy has once again announced a large purchase of Bitcoin.
MicroStrategy acquired an additional 11,931 BTC, worth approximately $786 million, using proceeds from convertible debt and cash on hand.
The company purchased these tokens at an average price of $65,883 per BTC. With this acquisition, MicroStrategy now holds 226,331 BTC, acquired at a price of approximately $8.33 billion, with an average price of $36,798 per Bitcoin.
Michael Saylor, a long-term Bitcoin bull, has been bullish on Bitcoin, as evidenced by MicroStrategy’s long-term strategy. Particularly considering the acquisition price and current value, this reflects nearly 100% investment growth.
