Part of the donation provided by Cameron Winklevoss and Tyler Winklevoss to President Donald Trump’s campaign has been returned because the donation exceeded the maximum amount allowed by federal law.
The billionaire twins, known for their feud with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, donated BTC worth $10,000 each to Trump, surpassing the legal limit of $844,600 per person. Campaign officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity, confirmed that the portion exceeding the limit has been refunded.
