Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin recently stated that the BRICS alliance is a good choice for Serbia.
According to Vulin, the BRICS countries do not impose requirements on Serbia and are capable of offering more assistance than it seeks in return.
The BRICS consortium includes countries such as Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Ethiopia, Iran, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates.
Vulin emphasized that his intention is not to make a comparison between BRICS and the European Union, but rather to highlight the existence of a viable alternative for Serbia. He expressed his conviction that the EU is approaching its end, as reported by N1.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted that joining BRICS does not impose ultimatums on Serbia to accept laws that oppose its state principles, or to concede positions to non-governmental organizations.
Furthermore, Vulin shared that membership in BRICS does not obligate Serbia to impose sanctions on any state or make changes to its foreign policy.
